Jesus heals woman with hip problems, tremendous pain and unable to walk, for 9 years

Last month we had several awesome meetings in Minneapolis that resulted in people being healed.
We also saw a lady there that we’d prayed for a year ago. When we met her last year, she had tremendous pain in her hips due to a car accident from 9 years prior. It was so bad that she could hardly walk and actually had to drop out of Bible School.
We’d prayed for her and a day later all the pain had left. Now, a year later, she had full mobility, zero pain, and she was back in school! She was so excited she was showing off how she could move her legs. It was really encouraging!
I want you to know that the power of God is real. Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever.
Sometimes people have a hard time getting healed or in some other area of their lives and they begin to think things like, “Maybe I haven’t given enough,” or “Maybe I haven’t prayed enough,” or the worst one, “Maybe God is mad at me.” All these thoughts put the focus on us and our performance rather than on Jesus.
Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes.” The greek word there for salvation is “soteria,” and it means salvation, healing, deliverance, protection, and provision. Everything you need in life is wrapped up in that one word, and it says that the Gospel is what will empower you to have it.
So what is the Gospel? The word “gospel” just means good news. It’s the good news of what Jesus accomplished in His death, burial, and resurrection. It’s the good news that we aren’t trying to receive from God based on what we’ve done, we receive from God because of what Jesus did!
That lady I mentioned earlier didn’t get healed because she was holier than someone else. She didn’t get healed because of her giving or her church attendance. SHE GOT HEALED BECAUSE WE TOLD HER THE GOOD NEWS THAT JESUS ALREADY DIED FOR HER FORGIVENESS AND HER HEALING.
We told her that God loved her unconditionally right where she was, and that just like any good father wouldn’t want his child to suffer physical pain, her heavenly Father wouldn’t want her to suffer either. We helped her take her eyes off of herself, and place them firmly on Jesus.
When I’m looking at myself, I don’t have a lot of confidence to receive the good things of God. I give, and I go to church, and I read my Bible, but I still don’t deserve healing or blessing or heaven. However, I don’t receive things in the name of Pastor Lawson. I receive them in the name of Jesus! And Jesus purchased every promise for us on the cross.
